With 207 shows, spread over four weeks, at eight venues across Camden, it can only be the Camden Fringe. It's in it's fourth year, and already the press acclaim it as a worthy competitor to the better known Edinburgh Fringe, in a David and Goliath sort of way.


The Fringe has theatre ranging from classic to modern. Shakespeare and Marlowe sit alongside new writing and new pieces, and there's more children's shows, with plenty of musicals, a football theme, science fiction, science fact as well as sketch comedy and stand-up.

There should be something for everyone, then.

Camden Fringe takes place from 2nd - 29th August 2010 at nine venues across Camden:

  • Roundhouse Studio Theatre
  • Shaw Theatre
  • The Camden Head
  • The Lion And Unicorn Theatre
  • The New Diorama Theatre
  • Upstairs At The Gatehouse
