Failté na h-éireann! Or an 'Irish' welcome to London. This Sunday 14th March London goes emerald green for the day with the annual St Patrick’s Day parade with a truckload of traditional Irish folk, dancing and, of course, the occasional tipple or two. Starting at Green Park at 12.00 noon and jigging through central London, this celebration of all things Irish ends in Trafalgar Square with a line-up of family activities, Irish culture and music from the likes of Camille O’Sullivan, Coronas and Foy Vance. With a large Irish population in the city, London is not the most unlikely place to spot an Irish lad or lass, so take this as a perfect opportunity to wave a Irish tricolor, grab a Guinness or two, or just head out with the kids to count leprechauns.
